1. The NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) System is a hydroponic system great for growing leafy greens and keeping them at ideal nutrient and climate levels. This level of control can help reduce production time and increase the quality of the crops.
The water is circulated through a series of small channels that are covered with a net or screen. The roots of the plants hang down into the channels and are bathed in nutrient-rich water. NFT systems are very efficient and can be set up quite easily. Also, the NFT systems are typically well-aerated, which is another key factor in plant growth.
Advantages
