The pharmaceutical industry is used in the production of analgin and aminopyrine intermediates. Food grade products are used as bleach, preservatives, and antioxidants. Sodium bisulfit e is a reducing bleach permitted in China. It has bleaching effect on food and strong inhibition of oxidase in plant food.
