Masking Solution/Products for Automotive Painting in OEM plants
The roll masking solution is one of the fastest masking solutions in two tone car painting process. Materials needed are high temperature and tear resistant fineline masking tapes for the sharp and thin paint edge design and a high temperature resistant large area masking foil to protect the main color from overspray. This masking solution can reduce process time, material costs and needed man power.
1. Masking film with crepe paper tape
The product is composed of rubber crepe tape and PE film.
Application: Mainly applied on masking for automotive fine line painting with high oven temperatures.
Features: It can resist drying temperature 90~180°C for 30 mins.
The large-size film can be folded into a small roller, which is convenient to use with quick mask and human power saving.
PE film also has the capability of electrostatic adsorption, which makes the masking easier and faster.
Standard Dimensions:
Width*Length : 800mmx25m; 1000mmx25m;1500mmx25m; 1800mmx25m
Dimensions can be customized according to customer requirements.
2. Masking film with PVC tape
The product is composed of PVC tape and PE film.
Application: It is mainly used for the protection of car body, bumper and auto parts during spray painting process.
Features: The tape can make turns and extend itself in obedience in line with the shape of the objects.
Heat-resistance reaches up to 180ºC.
It saves human power and shortens the preparing time for painting.
The PE film has the capability of electrostatic adsorption, which helps the film to attach on the surface of paint.

3. Masking film with tapes on double sides
Application: mainly used for masking sections for auto body, bumper and instrument desk during spray process for autos, trains and planes.
Features: The film is composed of tapes on both sides to make the products easier to use.
The design saves human power and shortens the preparing time for painting.
Both the tape and film are strong enough to stand temperature up to 130ºC for 30 minutes.
