Product Description
Scraper Conveyor is one kind continuous transport equipment with flexible traction component.
It has the rectangle smoothly in the seal or in the 'U' shape section material trough. With the aid of the moving scraper chain link's thrust force, the material and the scraper chain link become a continuous whole for transport. In the process of transportation, the scraper chains are buried in the material, thus it is also named the 'embedded scraper conveyor'. This machine is one of the primary conveying equipment for grain processing plants and grain warehouses.
Main structure
Scraper Conveyor is composed of a trough,scraper chains,head wheel and tail wheel,inlet and outlet,drive device and tensioning device.
Working principle
1) Horizontal Transport
During horizontal transportation, under the direct action of the scraper chain, the hauling level and the towed material experience a greater resistance to lateral movement than the friction force with the trough wall. This causes the material to form a cohesive unit with the scraper chain, all moving forward under the thrust force.
2)Vertical Transport
During vertical transportation, materials are driven by the scraper thrust, their own gravity, and the vertical pressure from the material below. This creates a lateral pressure between materials and the trough walls, maintaining relative stability and sufficient internal friction. This friction overcomes the gravitational pull and trough friction, ensuring stable material movement forward with the scraper chain.
