The AF series froth pump is designed to handle the foam present in the beneficiation industry, especially in flotation processes. This pump is a type of centrifugal slurry pump specifically developed to deal with abrasive and corrosive slurries mixed with foam and froth.
Product Features
The AF series froth pumps are newly designed and developed based on advanced domestic and international technology. They are widely used in industries such as metallurgy, mining, coal processing, and chemical engineering. The pumps can effectively handle abrasive and corrosive slurries, eliminating foam and froth during operation. The AF pump performs efficiently even with inadequate feeding slurry, making it ideal for foam slurry applications, particularly in flotation processes.
Structural featuresBearing Assembly: The AF series pumps share the same bearing assembly design as the SP and SPR series. The bearing housing is installed with a motor frame base or supporting plate. The pump and motor can be connected either directly with a coupling or through a pulley and belt. The pulleys are easily interchangeable, allowing for speed adjustment to match different operating conditions.
Feeding Tank: The feeding tank can be made of steel, stainless steel, or rubber-coated material and includes an overflow box and tangential inlet. The overflow box helps return excess incoming slurry back to the pit, while the tangential inlet allows the slurry to flow quickly into the pump, reducing foam content.
Double Casing Structure: The pump head features a double casing design. The wetted parts are available in metal-lined, rubber-lined, or other non-metallic materials, depending on the type of slurry.
