White fused alumina (WFA) belongs to the group of electro-corundum. The main material of WFA is a-Al2O3. It is a synthetic mineral of high purity and extreme hardness. Compared with brown fused alumina (BFA), White Corundum is harder, and it is more fragile.White Corundum is widely used in producing abrasive tools and refractory. Other applications include surface treatment, ceramic tiles, anti-skid paints, skin and dental care, etc..
