Polymethyl methacrylate (poly(methyl methacrylate), referred to as (PMMA), also known as Acrylic or plexiglass with high transparency, low price, Easy machining and other advantages, is often used as a substitute for glass materials.
[PMMA] Features:
1. Colorless and transparent, transmittance of 90%-- 92%, strong toughness, more than 10 times larger than silicon glass.
2. Good optical, insulating, processability and weather resistance.
3. Density 1.14-1.20g/cc, deformation temperature 76--116ºC, molding shrinkage rate 0.2-0.8%.
4. Linear expansion coefficient 0.00005-0.00009/ºC, thermal deformation temperature 68-69 ºC(74-107 ºC)
PMMA application areas:
1. For lighting and lighting equipment, can manufacture lampshade and all kinds of lampshade, such as lamp holder, fluorescent lampshade, automobile taillight lampshade, traffic signal lampshade, road sign, etc.
