Product Description
Sodium benzoate, also know as benzoic acid sodium, is commonly used as food preservatives in food industry, odorless or with slight smell of benzoin, and tastes sweet astringency. Stable in air and can absorb moisture in open air. It is naturally food in blueberry, apple, plum, cranberry, prunes, cinnamon and cloves, with weaker antiseptic performance than benzoic acid.
Sodium benzoate is widely used in acidic foods, carbonated drinks, jams and fruit juices, pickles, condiments and frogurt toppings. It's also used as a preservative in medicines and cosmetics.
