Qinghao High voltage power transformers are essential in substations for electrical grids, connecting generating stations to transmission lines and then to distribution networks. Main Characteristics:
1. Designed by patented technology and software with premium performance.
2. Core is made of high quality cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheet which produced in step-lap technology.
3. Winding is using high strength enameled wire or paper-insulated wire or copper belt, which offers uniform distribution of ampere-turns, reasonable insulation structure with high ability to withstand short-circuit.
4. Oil tank is corrugated type with high corrosion resistance. Tank surface pre-treatment liquid and coating powder adopts international top brands. The tank is degreasing, pickling, phosphorated, electrophoresis by automatic production lines, then power spray coating and heat-solidify.
5. The active part applies core free-hanging structure. The gasket is made of high-quality acrylate rubber which can inhibit ageing caused by sun and heat.

4. Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.

- Core: Typically made of laminated steel sheets.
- Windings: Primary Winding and Secondary Winding.
- Insulation: To prevent electrical conductivity between windings and the core, and turns of the windings.
- Tank: To house magnetic core and windings.
- Cooling System: Natural air cooling, forced air cooling, oil cooling with radiators, oil cooling with fans or heat exchangers.
- Bushing: High voltage terminals are sealed with bushings to insulate and protect against environmental factors and ensure safe operation.
- Tap Changer: Maintain voltage stability despite fluctuations in load or input voltage.
- Breather: Regulate the intake of air when the oil level expands and contracts due to temperature changes for oil transformer.
- Conservator: Also called expansion tank to ensure the oil level remains constant in the main tank.
- Buchholz Relay: A safety device that detects gas accumulation due to internal arcing or oil leaks, indicating a possible fault inside the transformer.
