Impregnated H2SO4, H3PO4 activated arbon for sulfur removal, FCI series
H2SO4 or H3PO4 impregnated activated carbon, coal base are kinds of pelletized activated carbon for Respirators and Human protection. In the simplest terms, H2SO4 or H3PO4 impregnated activated carbon does double duty: First it grabs the contaminants and then it turns them into something harmless. Accordingly it is ideal for respirator applications. Because impregnated carbon attracts and holds contaminants both physically and chemically.
Non-military applications for impregnated carbon include:

Applications
Removes organic vapors (CCl4, Toluene, most hydrocarbons), acid gases (SO2, H2S) and basic gases(NH3). It protect against the widest range of probable irritants.
