The Jack Base for the building construction consists of three parts: the base, the lead screw and the adjusting nut.
Classification:
1. According to the parts used, it can be divided into U Head Jack and Jack Base.
a. The U Head Jack is used at the upper end of the vertical steel pole, the head plate is at the upper end, and the head plate is with a folded edge;
b. The Jack Base is used at the bottom end of the vertical steel pole, the bottom plate is at the bottom, and the bottom plate can be with folded edge or without folded edge.
2. According to the material of lead screw, it can be divided into: hollow Jack Base and solid Jack Base.
a. The lead screw of the hollow Jack Base is made of thick wall steel pipe, which is lighter;
b. the solid Jack Base is made of round steel bar, which is heavier.
Application
1. By adjusting the different heights of the nut, so that the scaffolding can be used on irregular ground such as rough land, stairs and steps.
2. The adjustable U Head Jack can be adjusted to different heights and connected to the scaffolding. It can support the framed or frameless formwork of different heights. The U Head can be placed on square tubes etc.
