Railway insulator is molded from a proprietary blend of gray, track and UV resistant, high density polyethylene. They are the lightweight alternative to traditional porcelain post insulators and are ideal for use with all types of construction using either bare or covered conductors.
Application:
Railway Insulators are used on overhead transmission lines operating at and under 69 kV. These insulators are commonly installed either vertically or horizontally on metal or wooden structures to support the conductor. Also, these insulators are used to support high voltage conductor jumpers or leads.
