The horizontal screw discharge sedimentation centrifuge uses the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to continuously separate the solid liquid suspension. structure and working principle
The horizontal screw centrifuge in the form of mechanical differential is mainly composed of drum, spiral, differential, bearing seat, feeding tube, machine base, cover, main motor, auxiliary motor, electrical control system and various monitoring instruments. . When the material enters the centrifuge drum cavity, it is driven by a high-speed rotating drum to rotate at a high speed, so that the material is subjected to strong centrifugal force. Due to the high density, the solid particles in the mixture are subjected to a small centrifugal force, and a liquid ring layer can be formed only inside the solid ring layer. Since the rotation speeds of the screw and the drum are different, there is relative movement between the two (ie, the differential rotation speed), so the spiral will push the solid settled on the inner wall of the drum toward the outlet end of the drum and discharge. The role of the differential is to make the drum and screw have speed difference.
