Tension clamps are used in 11 kV and 33 kV line constructions especially at the section and angle pole.
The tension clamps are of two different types:
2-U bolt to suit conductor 25 sq. mm to 50 sq. mm ACSR
3-U bolt to suit conductor 100 sq. mm to 150 sq. mm ACSR
The tension clamps are made of malleable cast iron and all its steel parts shall be galvanized.
