| Single-axis solar trackers follow the sun from sunrise to sunset as it moves in the sky through the day from east to west. They are called a single-axis trackers as the mechanism only rotates in one plane around a single axis. The axis can be oriented so that the cells stand up at a tilt (called a polar axis) or lie flat (called a horizontal axis). Horizontal axis' are more suitable for small latitudes , whilst polar axis are more suitable for larger latitudes. |

| Climate test A | Actuators are tested with 12000N load, at temperatures of plus 5 °C and plus 40°C. |
| Climate test B | Actuators are tested with 12,000N load, at temperatures of minus 40 °C and plus 70°C. |
| Current and Speed | Actuators with loads of 0N, 8,000N and 12,000N are tested at minus 40°C, plus 30°C and 70°C. |
| IP X6 static | Actuators are tested for water ingress according to IP X6, without movement. |

| Salt spray test | Actuators are tested for corrosion resistance at 500 hours salt spray test. |
