Product Description
Bai Yun medical blue sensitive X-ray film is a universal film with a constant and high image quality. It is a high speed, medium to high contrast blue sensitive X-ray film that has been designed for use in general radiology in combination with blue emitting rare earth and calcium tungstate intensifying screens.
It is a universal film because of the desing of the characteristic curve. On the one hand, the contrast of the middle section and in the shoulder of the curve is sufficient to guarantee excellent visualization of all relevant details in applications, such as bone work and angiography. All lungfield structures are very clear presented as well.
On the other hand, the toe of the curve has been studied in such a way, that the information in low-density areas, such as the diaphragm, rectrocardial, mediastinal and spinal areas are displayed very well too. These features make it ideal for obtaining high quality images of the lung, diaphragm, retrocardial, mediastinal and spinal areas.
New excells in consistency: The Disc Grain technology keeps image quality at a consistently high level, even when the film is processed in weaker chemicals or unfavorable conditions. It also has a low sensitivity to desensitizing marks.
The use of a deep blue polyester base results in images with an nice, neutral look which are easier to read and more pleasant to look at.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Handling
The film should be handled with care. Hands must be clean, dry and free of lotions. Creasing and buckling as well as physical pressure should be avoided.
Processing
This film is designed for 90-seconds automated processing or manual processing. The former is recommended with any kinds of film processor, developing at 30-35 centigrade in 23 seconds. In manual processing, normally the film should be developed in temperature 20 centigrade for 5 minutes, fixed in 5-8 minutes, washed for 10-30 minutes and dried.
Safelight Requirements:
The use of a special red safelight silter in conjunction with a 15 watt frosted bulb is recommended. It should be utilized and be positioned at least 1.2 m (4 feet) from the unloading/loading area and processor tray.
Storage
Unopened, unexposed film should be stored at cool and dry location, suitable temperature is below 21 centigrade (70 Fahrenheit degree), the relative humidity is preferably between 30% and 60%.
Keep the film away from dampness, high temperature, any bad effective gases, X-ray, gamma ray or any other penetrating rays. Stored vertically to avoid any harmful effect caused by pressure.
Packaging
Available is all customary sizes in 100 sheet and 50 sheet packaging. Other packaging and sizes are available on special order.
