Product Description
Bai Yun medical green sensitive X-ray film is a general X-ray film that has been designed for use in general radiology in combination with green-emitting, intensifying screens. With its high system speed, this film allows considerable dose reduction in all processing conditions, while maintaining a constant and high image quality.
Designed for a complete range of applications, Bai Yun medical green sensitive X-ray film has a specially designed characteristic curve, resulting in a universal film. The curve ensures high contrast in the low-density areas of the image, while the contrast in the middle section and in the shoulder of the curve is sufficient to guarantee excellent visualization of the varying density levels.
This means the film provides all relevant details in high density areas such as bone structures and angiography, a clear presentation of middle density areas such as all lung field structures and well-displayed information in low density areas such as the diaphragm, retrocardial, mediastinal and spinal areas. With its high contrast, low fog and low noise level, this film allows the user to read all necessary information quickly.
The unique emulsion technology keeps image quality at a consistently high level, even when the film is processed in weaker chemicals or less-favorable conditions.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Handling
For use with green emitting intensifying screens. The film should be handled carefully by the edges to avoid physical strains. The best conditions of usage should be: Temperature: 18-24 centigrade, humidity: 50%RH-65%RH.
Hands must be clean, dry and free of lotions, etc.
Film Processing
This film is designed for 90-seconds automated processing or manual processing. The former is recommended with any kinds of film processor, developing at 30-35 centigrade in 23s. In manual processing, the film should be developed in temperature 20 centigrade for 5 minutes, fixed in 5-8 minutes, washed for 10-30 minutes and dried.
Safelight
Use a safelight filter (dark red) in a suitable safelight lamp equipped with a 15-watt bulb. Keep the film at least 4 feet (1.2 meters) from the safelight, and the total lighting time is in 10 minutes.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place (The suitable temperature is 10-20 centigrade, the humidity is 30%RH-60%RH). Keep it away from dampness, high temperature, any bad effective gases, X-ray, gamma ray or any other penetrating rays. Stored vertically to avoid any harmful effect caused by pressure.
Packaging
Available is all customary sizes in 100 sheet and 50 sheet packaging. Other packaging and sizes are available on special order.
