Hydrocolloid Dressing
Hydrocolloid wound dressing is an self-adhesive elastic wound dressing that is made of carboxymethyl cellulose, medical pressure sensitive adhesive, and breathable PU film. When in contact with the exudate, hydrocolloids turns into a cohesive gel which helps preserve the wound's moist microenvironment, encouraging its cleaning and healing processes. Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing can absorb 10 times of it's weight, thus it suitable for low to moderate exudate wounds.The main function of hydrocolloid wound dressing is to protect wound from bacterial, create a moist wound healing environment and fasten wound healing, and minimize the scarring.
Hydrocolloid dressing contains mainly hydrocolloid CMC, which is hydrophilic and excellent absorption and exudates management. Hydrocolloid dressing supplies the wound with enough moisture, so that the necrosis tissue of the wound can be hydrated, which improves debridement. Besides, CMC can absorb the extra exudate and toxin to keep reasonable moisture of the wound and improve the tissue development. It can let oxygen exchange, prevent microorganisms from passing the semi-permeable membrane, absorb the jelly formed by the exudates and avoid adhesion between the dressing and the wound. The dressing can be used on operations, burn, abrasion, skin donor sites, chronic wound and healing wound etc. It is much better for bed sore, ulcer of lower limbs and infected ulcer.

Instructions for use:
1. Carefully clean the wound and its surrounding area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
2. Apply the dressing, fitting and shaping it to the wound, exceeding its edges by at least 2cm.
3. If due to the specific condition of the wound, the dressing proves difficult to remove, simply irrigate it with sterile physiological solution.
Size and package can be customized.
The standard type with border is mainly used on light medium exuding pressure sores and leg ulcers.
The ultra thin type is mainly used on dry to light exuding super-facial wounds, surgical post operative wounds and abrasions. It is also used on small wounds towards the end of healing phase.
