INDICATIONS
Ticarcillin sodium and clavulanate potassium for injection is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections. The main indications are as follows: Severe infections: sepsis, bacteremia, peritonitis, intra-abdominal sepsis, special populations (following Infections due to suppressed or compromised immune system), postoperative infections, bone and joint infections, skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory infections, severe or complicated urinary tract infections (eg, pyelonephritis), ear, nose and throat infections.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions If an allergic reaction occurs, the drug should be discontinued immediately. Manifested as rash, large herpes, urticaria and other allergic reactions. Gastrointestinal reactions: nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
