MEGATRO RAPID DEPLOYMENT TOWE
Optimally balanced between mobility and capacity, Rapid Deployment Towers by JRDC are known to be the industry's best in quality. Our RDTs are highly portable and can be deployed and installed easily. Consisting of a base frame which is composed of high quality steel galvanized beams and precast concrete slabs, these units can be towed away by trucks and allow easy and fast erection of telecommunication towers without the need of foundation and civil works.
This unit is mounted on the chassis of a truck (Cell on Wheel) consisting of an equipment shelter and single or dual generators.
RDU is a 40 meters telescopic guyed mast that can be erected at smaller heights according to the needs. It is usually supported by an embedded galvanized frame.
MEGATRO RAPID DEPLOYMENT TOWES are the most effective solution to solve concentration problems and offer the greatest transmission capacity possible in high-mobility units during possible downtime of fixed network or as a base station in sites with infrastructural limitations.
*Our telecommunication towers in cell on wheels come in 20, 30, and 40 meter COW units with several customisation options and add-ons. Clients have the option to either choose standard designs or work with our design team for customised designs that meet their needs.

General Description
The Main Components:
- Tower: consists of overlapped parts in the telescopic form for the ease of erection, to save time, and to ensure quality of fabrication.
- RDU Frame on chassis: constructed on trailer to include the shelter & equipment.
- Guy wires: installed on many levels to make lateral support for the tower
- Basic Design wind speed is 3-sec gust speed 160 km/hr.
- Operational wind speed is 3-sec gust speed 120 km/hr.
- Maximum deflection = 1.0 degree at operational wind speed.
- The Structure is supplied with a set of standard accessories like obstruction light, lightning and earthing system.
- Available height is 40m with Triangular cross-section.
- The Load Capacity is 3 GSM antennas and 2 MWs (0.6m diameter) under antennas.
- The Materials used are Q235B and Q345B
