ZQ127/25 drill pipe power tong is an open type power tong used for loading and unloading 2 3/8 "-3 1/2" drill pipes, 2 3/8 "-4 1/2" oil pipes, and 4 1/2 "-5 1/2" casing in oilfield well repair operations.
This power tong has the following characteristics:
(1)The main and backup tons are both internal curved roller climbing clamping mechanisms, with different specifications of tongs configured according to different pipe diameters. One type of tongs can hold multiple pipe diameters, and the main and backup tongs are universal. By replacing different specifications of Jaw assy, the specified range of pipe columns can be effectively clamped.
(2)Both the main and backup tongs are controlled by the same manual directional valve for steering, making the operation simple and reliable; The hydraulic power tong is equipped with a spring suspension device.
(3) The main tong is equipped with a two speed transmission mechanism, and under appropriate adjustment of system pressure and flow conditions, it can obtain torque and speed values within an appropriate range.
(4)This power tong is equipped with a torque control system, which automatically stops rotating when the torque reaches the set value. The setting of this system provides convenience for the power tong to implement the optimal up torque for different specifications of pipe columns. The torque sensor of this system can be connected to a torque meter, which can display, record, print torque values, and issue alarm signals (configured upon user request).
