This is an Optical Probe with an RS232 electrical interface and compliant with IEC62056-21 standard. It is especially used to read electricity meters closely with laptop computers and to remotely read with modem which meters without electrical communication port. Our optical probes contain N38 magnets and are very well integrated with the meters.
