MY001-B USB to IR optical probe is used for local serial communication using infrared communication between static smart electricity meters (meters or other equipment) with optical interface on one side and a PC or HHU (Hand-Held Units) with USB2.0 interface on the other side. on the other. The converter/optical probe parameters fulfill all technical requirements on data transmission in accordance with the standard IEC62056-21 (in the past IEC1107) and the set of users're-quirements DLMS/COSEM. The converter/optical probe has a infrared transmit and a infrared receive diode. The optical probe is fitted with a permanent magnet, which ensures that the probe remains attached on the meter during data collection.
