MY015-D TYPE-C Optical Probe is an interface that communicates via infrared waves with peripheral devices, such as electricity meters, water meters, heat meters, gas meters, flow meters or any other device with an optical port. Its small housing design makes it lightweight yet rugged with PC . This optical probe works with all devices that support the European standard IEC 62056-21 (IEC 1107) and DLMS/COSEM.
MY015-D features a USB Type C connector, which is ideal for tablets and mobile phones equipped with a Type C interface. It supports a range of operating systems, including Mac, Windows XP/7/8/10/11, Android, Windows Mobile, and Linux. The driver has been included to facilitate ease of use. Furthermore, it obtains power from the TYPE-C USB port, negating the need for an external battery pack or power adapter. MY015-D benefits greatly from a robust N38 magnet that securely attaches the optical probe to smart meter.
