It can be used to determine absolute viscosity of Newtonian liquids and apparent viscosity of Non-Newtonian liquids. It has been widely used to determine viscosity of oil greases, paints, plastic materials, pharmaceuticals, coating materials, adhesives, washing solvents, and other fluids.
