Hengming pocket plate type ni-cd storage battery is designed to meet different discharge requirements. They are classified into three types KPH type (High discharge rate cells), KPM (Medium discharge rate cells) and KPL type (Low discharge rate cell). These batteries conform to IEC 60623, CE standard and other International standards.

KPL ,KPM,KPH,KPX batteries are designed for a wide variety of stationary indstria applications such as power back-up,engine starting an bulk energy sorage.

Ni-Cd backup power batteries usually charge with constant current and charge 8 hours with 0.2C5A.
Floating charge also can be used, and the floating charge voltage of different series as follow:

| KPH/GNG High discharge rate Nickel Cadmium battery | The battery shall apply to the applications with the high discharge rate at 3.5ItA~7ItA and the discharge time for no more than 1h, such as UPS switch transition, railway emergency back-up and start-up power supply. Rated capacity range:10~500Ah |
