BOPA Film, an abbreviation of Biaxially-oriented Polyamide Film, is made from raw material polycaprolactam which is also known as nylon 6 or PA6.
The material is melt in the special equipment and extruded into biaxially-oriented polyamide film at machine direction and transverse direction.
In view of the exceptional strength and barrier properties, BOPA film is widely used to daily usage chemicals, electronics, food freshening and medicine package, etc. However, it is barely used by itself, but laminated with other materials (such as PE, EVA, PET, CPP aluminum foil and paper, etc.) in order to get better comprehensive performance.
BOPA Films are especially ideal for packing of foods that deteriorate easily, frozen or cooked, vegetable, aquatic products, and medical machines, etc.
