Engineered Flooring Structure:


         Engineered flooring, is 100% real wood, consists of two or more layers of wood using a cross-directional way to adhered together and then form to be a plank. Typically, engineered wood flooring uses a thin layer of genuine premium hardwood bonded to a core constructed. This construction counteracts the natural tendency of wood to expand and contract with seasonal changes in temprature and humidity, making engineered products more dimensionally stable. This stability makes flooring than can be installed over all types of subfloors above,below or on grade.

Q:What about engineered flooring versus a solid hardwood product?

A: Engineered products are available in Planks and Strips; they are manufactured of hardwood using a cross-directional laminated construction, with a top layer of genuine premium hardwood ( from 1.2mm to 6mm wear layer). This construction counteracts the natural tendency of wood to expand and contract with seasonal changes in temperature and humidity, making engineered products more dimensionally stable. Solid products are available in Planks, Strips or Parquet; they are manufactured from a solid piece of wood.

Q. What's the difference between engineered flooring and laminate flooring?
A. Engineered flooring is constructed in layers similar to plywood with a genuine hardwood veneer layer on the surface. The laminate flooring is a photographed image of finished wood and cannot be refinished, whereas many engineered products can be refinished.
