Oil Seals commonly known as rotary shaft seals, are fitted on shafts or axles rotating clockwise and/or anticlockwise. The sealing element elastomer, like a sleeve and the stiffened ring case, both of which are vulcanized together and in the radial direction, and the flex section forms a lip on which an annular spiral tension spring is inserted. The function of an oil seal is to prevent or minimize the leakage of oil or other media. They also prevent the entry of contaminants that can destroy internal components.
