Easily activate or deactivate the timer by pressing the timer button for over 3 seconds (lights flash twice for on, once for off).

The remote works indoors within a range of 72 feet (aim it at the USB). Plus, it remembers your last chosen mode and brightness level, so you won't have to reset them every time.
