Intended Use:
The TianLong Staphylococcus Aureus DNA Detection Kit is intended for the qualitative detection of Staphylococcus Aureus nucleic acid by Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time PCR) method.
The test is designed to detect DNA from Staphylococcus aureus in specimens such as human rectal swab sample or human stool sample. The potential candidate personnel to be tested could include, but are not limited to patients with symptoms of infection who are suspected of Staphylococcus aureus by healthcare providers, or persons with no symptoms from a population for screening test confirmation or exclusion of Staphylococcus aureus infection or Staphylococcus aureus carriage status.
Results from the test are for the identification of Staphylococcus aureus DNA existence in samples tested. The Staphylococcus aureus DNA is mostly often detectable in human rectal swab samples or human stool samples collected during the acute phase of infection.
