Proclin 300 antibacterial agent is an efficient and specialized antibacterial agent for in vitro diagnostic reagents, including mobile phases used in various reagents, quality control substances, calibration substances, buffers, and chromatography. Due to its extensive inhibitory effect on microbial growth, excellent compatibility and stability, low toxicity, and biodegradability, this product is an ideal new antibacterial product that can replace traditional antibacterial agents such as thiomersal (organic compounds containing m-e-r-c-u-r-y), s-o-d-i-u-m a-z-i-d-e (flammable and explosive drugs), and gentamicin (antibiotic raw materials).
Proclin 300 antibacterial agent is a specialized antibacterial agent for in vitro diagnostic reagents (IVD), with a commonly used concentration of 0.05-0.1% (w/w). It includes buffering agents for biochemical reagents, immunoassay reagents, molecular biology reagents, electrophoresis solutions, PCR/DNA detection, blood cell analysis reagents, various diluents, buffers, cleaning solutions, etc.
The advantage of isothiazolinone is its broad-spectrum antibacterial and anti mold properties, but the disadvantage is that the degradation rate of isothiazolinone increases with the pH value of the solution (CMIT is not heat-resistant or alkali resistant, but MIT can be heat-resistant or alkali resistant).
Isothiazolinone is relatively stable at low temperatures, and the degradation rate increases with the increase of solution temperature. At a pH of 7, natural light can rapidly degrade (t?=322h), and it is recommended to store raw materials and finished products away from light.
Solutions containing sulfides and iron ions accelerate the photodegradation of isothiazolinone, while divalent ions such as copper, zinc, manganese, magnesium, and phosphates can inhibit the chemical degradation of isothiazolinone.
