PEXa EVOH Oxygen Barrier Pipe Production Line
This oxygen barrier pipe production machine is used to produce 3 layer type PEXa/EVOH oxygen barrier pipes. The line speed is up to 20m/min.
Unlike like oxygen barrier pipes,which are made by co-extrusion technology. The PEXa oxygen barrier pipes are produced with two separate steps. Firstly the inner PEXa pipes is made by Ram extruder, the oldest extrusion technology, known as ENGEL extrusion technology. Then coated with outer oxygen barrier layer, which is done by coextrusion technology.

One the same pipe production line, it can produce 3 layer PEXa EVOH oxygen barrier pipes, and also can produce two layer PEXa with black anti-UV layer.
1) Advanced co-extrusion technology with two extruders and co-extrusion die head mold, which makes the composite pipe bond firmly with precise size.
The die head with vacuum function, sepcial for that outer layer coating layer making. Vacuum degree is controlled.
2) The screw and barrel are special designed according to the property of EVOH resin. It is suitable for stable extrusion of high melt pressure of oxygen barrier resin.
3) Two sets of heating oven are equipped for fast and sufficinent pre-heating of the pipe. Heating temperature is set and controlled by OMRON instruments.
3) SIEMENS PLC control system witn sync control function, easy to control that two hauling machines and two extruders.
4) Two laye anti-UV type pipes can be produce with the same line. One extruder can be little large to get more output, and production speed.
