As they spin, the rotors draw gas into their grooves from the intake port, which then seals off to form a compression chamber. Here, lubricating oil is introduced, enhancing sealing, cooling, and lubrication. This rotation decreases chamber volume, compressing the gas into an efficient oil-gas mix, which is released through the exhaust port upon cycle completion, epitomizing the intake-compression-exhaust efficiency.
