- D-chiro-inositol (DCI) is one of the nine isomers of inositol with optical activity. In recent years, studies have found that D-chiral inositol (DCI) not only has the function of inositol to promote liver lipid metabolism, but also has such special physiological functions as i nsulin sensitization, lowering blood sugar, improving ovulation in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), regulating hormone balance, improving menstrual disorders, and anti-oxidation, anti-aging, and anti-inflammation.
