Product Introduction
Different proportion of Vinylpyrrolidone to vinylacetate can be offered in powder, alcohol solution and aqueous solution products. The aqueous solution product may be varied from transparent to cloudy. The clarity of the solution depends on the proportion of Vinylpyrrolidone to vinylacetate. The solution is slight acidic but not electrolytic.
About pvp:
Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone (PVP in short) is a hydrophilic polymer material which is one of three major novel pharmaceutical excipients.
-Excellent physiological inertia without participating in human metabolism.
-With excellent biocompatibility, it does not cause any irritation to skin, mucosa, eyes, etc;
-It functions to detoxify, stop bleeding, increase dissolution concentration, prevent peritoneal adhesion and promote blood sedimentation and so on.
-At present, PVP has been developed into a series of products such as homopolymer, copoly-mer, cross-linked polymer and complexes with molecular weight varies from thousands to over one million.
Application
Pharmaceuticals: It is mainly used as water soluble and drying adhesive agent when making grain and pressing tablet directly. It will be used in film coating and cover-taste agent. It can prevent sugar coating from split and make bottom coating avoid dampness.
Cosmetics: PVP/VA Series play a good role in film-former and hair-fixing agent. Its hygroscopicity decreases with the increase of the proportion of vinylacetate in the molecular. This property of PVP/VA is extremely useful as it works in hair sprays and hair-set lotion. If it is mixed with PVP K-30, the effect of hair-fixing would be changed a lot.
Other Utility: PVP/VA series can be used in remoistenable adhesive and other adhesives for paper or viscosity-enchancing agent and protecting colloid for printing ink. PVP/VA 64 series can also act as emulsifying agent, protecting colloid for planting-protecting chemicals, other dispersing systems and binder in coating.
Packing and Storage
Liquid is packed in 50 kg/ plastic drum or 1MT/IBC drum.
Powder is packed in 25kg/ fiber drum.
