Reaming Shell
Many years of experience combined with recent improvements in technology and manufacturing concepts have resulted in greatly improved drilling performance of impregnated diamond core drill bits for mineral exploration.
Hey are manufactured with very small, high quality synthetic diamonds mixed evenly through a metal matrix. DIYFIA core bits are manufactured to give optimum penetration rates and bit life, which is required to keep the cost of diamond drilling to a minimum.
It is set with natural or synthetic diamond, and it is used to couple the drill bit with the core barrel, NO, HQ, PQ reaming shell.
Its main function is to ream the hole to the correct constant specific diameter which ensures adequate clearance for the core barrel and sufficient clearance for the new bit which replaces an old one. It also acts as a stabilizer for drill bit.
Application; Diamond drill bit drill soft to hard rock, widely used in the drilling or geological exploration water conservancy and power engineering hydrological exploration and building construction etc. They can as well be used in fitting-up house, and installing heating or gas pipe for drilling holes in reinforced concrete.
