R&S®NGU source measurement unit
The R&S®NGU source measurement unit (SMU) is suitable for demanding applications such as: - Battery and power consumption testing - Powering wireless devices - Analog voltage drops The special ammeter design allows it to accurately measure current consumption from nanoampere to ampere at the same time, eliminating the need for multiple measurements. With the quick recovery function, the instrument is able to cope with the rapid load changes that occur when a mobile communication device switches from sleep mode to transmit mode. High-speed data acquisition allows every detail to be inspected with 2 μs resolution. The R&S®NGU source measurement unit is available in a two- or four-quadrant architecture and can be used as both a source and an absorber.
