Rubber contact strip as a significant part of digital piano, which quality extremely influences piano's pressing tactile feeling.
At the bottom of rubber buttons, the rubber contacts are the conductive medium between piano and rubber buttons.
When press keys of piano's keyboard, which rubber contacts touch digital piano's PCB, digital piano's electronic speakers will play back high-quality recordings that were previously taken from acoustic pianos.
The rubber contacts are the most important medium between rubber buttons and piano, good rubber contact brings good conductivity effect and good sensitivity.
For rubber contacts, conductive ink and conductive rubber carbon pills are most commonly used. Therefore, choosing low resistance (lower than 30 Ohms) conductive ink or carbon pills is effective.
Besides low resistance, please pay attention to the shape of conductive ink or carbon pills.
Conductive sensitivity will lower down if the ink printing is not full or carbon pills is too thin, deform or cover with rubber material.
