Characteristics
NAK80/1.2796/P21 is a tool steel grade standardised for hot working. The main feature of this grade is the combination of alloyed elements of Cr, Mo and V, which provides a high wear resistance to thermal shock. It is well known as for its great strength, and heat resistance. It is heavily used for die casting in the cold heading field. The presence of high vanadium in DIN 1.2344 can handle the abrasion at both low and high temperatures. It always provides a uniform and high level of machinability. This tool steel is mostly used for aluminum, magnesium and zinc die casting.
Applications
1.Full hardness(52-54HRC) plastic moulds with higher requirement for polishing and longevity, such as Bakelite plastic moulds.
2. Die casting moulds of lead, zinc and aluminum alloy (such as engine radiator, lamp,and decoration) .
3.Aluminum extrusion moulds such as Aluminum window&door, computer radiator.
4.Hot forging moulds such as auto connecting rods ,crank, stainless dinner knife.
5.Low yielding cooper and aluminum alloy extrusion and die casting mould.
Delivery Time: 7-10 working days for steel in stock. 20-60 working days for direct production based on the quantity.

Our MOQ each order is around 25 Tons(one container), customer can mix different types of steel to reach this quantity.
