APT single pipe hydro tester tests one pipe in one working cycle. Tester adopts double tensile beams. Its structure is simple, but is very reasonable and stabile to bear the strength. Reasonable structure and stable performance achieves the fast speed.
Hydro tester includes three working station, i.e. aligning/flushing station,pressure testing station and water draining/blowing station.
Normally, one APT tester can test the pipes with maximum outside diameter three times over the minimum diameter. Upon request from customers, we could tailor-designed the tester for testing outside diameter variation bigger than 3 times.
Pressure is built up by intensifiers which are designed and manufactured by ourself. Normally, there are one set pre-intensifier, one set pressurized intensifier and one set sustained intensifier. When testing, the pre-intensifier is used to pre-seal the big clearance sealing around the two ends of the pip; pressurized intensifier is used to build up the pressure quickly inside the pipe; the sustained intensifier is used to rise the pressure to the set value precisely and holds it.
There are two types of test head, rectangle and circle.
Rectangel type is easy to change, and is used for pipe OD from 12mm to 508mm.
Circle type is good to bear the strength occurred by pressurized water, and is used for pipe OD bigger than 178mm.
