Monodisperse cation resin for Biodiesel Purification
Seplite® BD130 is specially developed dry cation for Purification and impurity removal of Biodiesel
It has been developed to purify the raw biodiesel stream after the phase separation step in the
manufacturing of biodiesel.
Seplite® BD130 functions as a desiccant, neutralizing agent and an ion exchanger to remove water,
leftover reactants and by-products of the transesterification process, including soaps, glycerin, NaOH and
organics. It may be used without any special pre-treatment. Seplite® BD130 greatly simplifies biodiesel
purification.
This resin was supplied in dry form, and shows very big advantage on high capacity and long service time,
the exact service time varied accordingly to the biodiesel quality and impurity a lot.
Since supplied in dry form, during column design and loading resin, pls pay specially attention to its
swelling rate.
