Introduction
sodium hydrosulfite, also known as insurance powder, is a kind of white sand-like crystal or light yellow powder chemical products, melting point 300ºC (decomposition), ignition temperature 250 ºC, insoluble in ethanol, soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, strong reaction and combustion in water.
1.Insurance powder is widely used in the textile industry for reducing dyeing, reduction cleaning, printing and decolorization and used as silk, wool, nylon and other fabrics bleaching, because it does not contain heavy metals, the color of the fabric after bleaching is very bright, not easy to fade.
2.In a variety of substances, it can also be used for food bleaching, such as gelatin, sucrose, preserves, and soap, animal (plant) oil, bamboo, China clay bleaching. It can also be used in organic synthesis, such as dyes, pharmaceutical production as a reducing agent or bleach, even sodium bisulfite is suitable for wood pulp paper bleaching agent.
