There are free fall life boat and enclosed life boat available, the capacity is from 10 passenger to 150 passengers. We provide gravity luffing arm type davit, free fall launching appliance davit, platform davit for oil platform etc for the life boats..
Our rescue boat are driven by outboard board petrol engine or inboard diesel engine with the speed from 8knots to 35 knots. The outboard engines are Mercury which is approved by class. The inboard diesel engine are Yanmar or BUKH which is with water jet pump.
The SOLAS Marine Totally Enclosed Survival Craft Lifeboat is a special life saving boat installed on the ship and used to rescue the crew and passengers in the event of a ship crash. It is powered by diesel engine and composed with floating material to prevent sinking when capsizing. There are LSA equipment such as fresh water, ration food, flares etc inside which can help the persons for survival. It is a mandatory device for sea vessels according to the SOLAS 1974. And it can increase the opportunity for the escaping when there is emergency situation occurred.
It can be named as Totally enclosed motor propelled survival craft which is made of FRP (Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic), FRP is light weight, high strength, durable and sea water corrosion resistant. The lifeboat is self-righting and powered by diesel engine with speed over 6knots for emergency life saving. It is mandatory for SOLAS to install on the sea-going vessels.Tanker version enclosed lifeboat is one type of life boat which is usually used for oil tanker, chemical tanker, gas tanker, offshore oil platform etc. It is installed with compressed air supply system and water spray system to protect itself when it is surrounded by the oil fire. And the outside material is fire resistant.
SOLAS approved enclosed lifeboat is mandatory for the sea-going vessels. It is widely used on the ships for the emergency life saving of crews and passengers. The Min. size is 5.0m in accordance with SOLAS regulations. All the IACS members issue the certificate of the lifeboat according to the SOLAS LSA codes.
The lifeboats are approved by CCS, BV, ABS, DNV-GL, EC, MED, RMRS, IRS etc. And meets the following regulations:
1. Amendments to the international convention for the safety of life at sea, 1974.
2. International life-saving appliance(LSA), code MSC.218(82), MSC.272(85).
3. MSC.81(70), MSC.226(82), MSC.274(85) The resolution for maritime safety committee.
