The term cable is often used interchangeably with wire rope. in general, "wire rope" refers to diameter larger than 3/8 inch. However, sizes smaller than this are designated as cable or cords. |
7×7 (WSC): mainly supplied in 1mm to 8mm diameter.
7×19 (WSC): from 2mm up to 16mm diameter.
1×19 Strand: supplied from 1mm to 16mm diameter.
6×36 (IWRC): 8mm to 22mm diameter.
