Diamond polishing pads are cleaning pads made of hundreds of millions of diamonds set on special pads that clean and polish the stone by purely physical mechanical grinding. No training is required for the cleaning staff to maintain the stone with diamond polishing pads and no cleaning agents are required, only water. Diamond polishing pads can be used with scrubbing and vacuuming machines with a maximum speed of up to 450 rpm, single scrubbing machines or two-speed machines. Because they are not polluting to the environment, they are rapidly gaining ground in Europe and the USA.
The use of diamond polishing pads is very simple. Firstly, white diamond polishing pads are used to refurbish the stone, removing small scratches on the stone surface; then brown diamond pads are used to remove smaller bumpy parts of the stone surface, and finally green diamond polishing pads are used to finely polish the stone surface, giving the stone a new look.
