Kevlar Packing

The STYLE 6500 Kevlar packing is crafted from DuPont's continuous filament Kevlar® yarn, which has been impregnated with PTFE emulsion and treated with a lubricant. Given the remarkable strength and modulus of Kevlar®, which rivals that of steel, this packing outperforms other braided packing materials. It demonstrates superior resistance to harsh media and elevated pressures. Additionally, the STYLE 6500 Kevlar packing can be installed independently or as end rings in conjunction with other types of packing, allowing for the integration of diverse characteristics into a comprehensive seal packing ring set.

Application Areas:
STYLE 6500 can be used in rotary pump, valves, piston pumps, mixers, reactors, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food, sugar, chemical and petrochemical, power stations, steel mills and many area. Also ideal as anti-extrusion rings in combination with softer packing.
