Melting point (°C): 120
S-80 is made as yellow granule, with content of 80% sulfur. The melting point of sulfur is 120°C. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and ether, soluble in carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride and benzene.

Performance and Application:
S-80 is the most common and most important curing agent for the natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It can also be used as vulcanization agent in special rubber products. Insoluble sulfur can prevent sulfur migrating to the rubber surface, scorching and keep the rubber with good viscosity. It is mainly used in manufacturing tire , rubber hose, rubber,adhesive tape, industrial products and latex products.

One of our plants is located in the Zheshang Science and Technology Park in Jiashan, Zhejiang. This plant is at the center of prosperous Jiangsu Zhejiang Shanghai economic zone, and has achieved fasr and sustainable growth since the establishment due to strong market demand and our outstanding research and quality control capabilities.
