What is Ceftriaxone Sodium
Ceftriaxone sodium is a kind of water-soluble beta lactam cephalosporin class, is a kind of gastrointestinal tract, semi-synthetic long-term, broad spectrum of the third generation of cephalosporin class of antibiotics, for most gram-positive bacterium and negative bacteria are sensitive, wide antibacterial spectrum, antibacterial effect is strong, resistant to enzyme degradation, low toxicity, organization, strong penetrating power and long half-life. The β -lactam structure of ceftriaxone acts on carboxypeptidase, endopeptidase and peptidase of bacterial cell plasma membrane, all of which are involved in cell synthesis and cell division. Through these enzymes, they lead to cell wall defects and cell death, and inhibit the synthesis of mucin in bacterial cell wall to achieve the therapeutic effect. In the treatment of lower respiratory tract infection, skin tissue, urinary tract infection, bone and joint infection and bacterial septicemia has achieved a good therapeutic effect.
