Comens Secubond PT805/PT905 is a third generation advanced fast cure two-part methacrylate metal-bonding adhesive. PT805/PT905 can bond most of the metal except copper without the need of primer in the case of simple surface treatment. The product can also be used to bond common engineering plastics.

Uses:
Used to bond the following materials:
1.Metals: aluminum, cold rolled steel, magnesium alloy, stainless steel
2.Engineering Plastics: PC/ABS, ABS, acrylic resin, polycarbonate, PVC
3.Composite materials: epoxy, unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and polyurethane.
PT805 is more applicable to bonding between metal metal and metals.
PT905 is more applicable to bonding between metal and composite materials.PT805 is more applicable to bonding between metal metal and metals.

Note: the following information and data are typical values under standard conditions, not as basis for product acceptance. If the test environment is not explicitly mentioned in the following tests, the test environment is unified to a temperature of 24 ± 2 ° C and a humidity of 50 ± 5% RH.
Storage and Shelf Life:
The Comens Secubond PT805/PT905 is packaged in a 490 mL side-by-side double tube. The recommended storage temperature is 8-25 ºC and the storage period is 12 months. Storage at 12ºC helps to extend the shelf life of the product. Long-term exposure to temperatures above 25 ºC will shorten the shelf life of the product.The initiator component decomposes rapidly above 35 ºC to destroy product reactivity. Do not expose the product to high temperature storage. Recommended storage environment: ventilated, dry and dark.

Although the Comens Secubond PT805/PT905 does not require special surface treatments and can even be bonded with oil, in order to achieve the desired bonding effect, it is recommended to clean the surface of the adherent substrate with dust and oil in the following manner:
Metal:Wipe once with acetone,Wipe once with alcohol
Plastic substrate:Wipe twice with alcohol
Compsite materials: Surface grinding and clean the surface with dry cloth
It is recommended to use the 490mL 10:1 manual/pneumatic glue gun (Mixpac/NSJ)and mixing tube recommended by our company for sizing work.
